Our story
A decade of grassroots impact
SS Microfinance Association was founded in 2015 with a clear and purposeful mission — to provide financial access to women who have historically been excluded from formal banking systems.
Operating from our head office in Bharatpuram Colony, Susuwahi, Varanasi, we have grown from a single-district initiative into a trusted microfinance network spanning 7 branches across 3 districts of Bihar.
We believe that when a woman gains financial independence, her entire family and community benefit. Through the Joint Liability Group lending model, we have helped over 2500 women start businesses, grow livelihoods, and build secure futures.
